| Feature | What it does |

| Public holidays | Subscribe a schedule to one or more countries’ public holidays, with suggestions based on its timezone. |
| Holiday calendar feeds | Import personal time off from any calendar or HRIS with an iCal feed, including Personio, CharlieHR and Rippling. |
| Direct HRIS integrations | Connect Workday, HiBob or BambooHR directly, and choose which time off policies show on a schedule. Available on Enterprise. |
| Vacation conflict detection | Spots time off that clashes with a shift, and tells the person before they go away. Available on Pro and Enterprise. |

| Overrides | Hand a whole shift or part of one to someone else, from the dashboard, mobile or the API. |
| Cover requests | Ask your schedule for cover, and we create the override as soon as someone accepts. |
| Shift swaps | Trade a shift for one of a teammate’s, directly or as part of a cover request. |

| Escalation paths | Multi-level paths with retries, working hours conditions and priority branching. |
| Round robin | Spread pages evenly across a rotation rather than always starting with the same person. |
| Out of hours delays | Hold an out of hours escalation until working hours begin, so a low priority page wakes nobody. |
| Notification preferences | Phone call, SMS, mobile push, WhatsApp and email, set separately for high and low urgency. |
| Notification policies | Require a minimum set of contact methods, and enforce it so responders can’t remove the rules. Available on Pro and Enterprise. |

| Phone trees | Let callers press a key to choose which team they reach, so one number can serve several. Available on Enterprise. |
| Voicemail | Take a message when nobody answers, with a recording and transcript on the alert. |

| Slack user group sync | Keep a Slack user group in step with a schedule, so mentioning it reaches whoever is on call. |
| Shift calendar feeds | Subscribe to your own shifts, or a whole schedule, from Google Calendar, Outlook or any iCal app. |
| Schedule change notifications | Post a Slack message at each handover saying who is coming on and off duty. |
| Mobile app | Take a page, check schedules and arrange cover from iOS or Android. |
