Our Pulumi provider lets you manage incident.io configuration from a Pulumi program in TypeScript, Python, or Go. It’s generated from our Terraform provider, so it manages the same resources, with the same names and properties.

Create an API key in Settings → API keys with permission to manage the resources you want to control, then set it in your stack config:
Or export it as INCIDENT_API_KEY.

The Pulumi Registry has the reference for every resource, with examples in all three languages.

Import existing configuration

Bring configuration you’ve already set up in the dashboard under Pulumi with pulumi import, using the resource’s ID from the dashboard URL or the API:
Importing marks the resource as managed by code, which locks it in the dashboard, the same as a Terraform-managed resource. To import without locking it, run pulumi config set incident:markImportedResourcesAsManaged false first.
